We were doing a three dog intro with potential adopters today. Our dog was a mild mannered choc-lab, she gave a mild correction to there dog, to which I matched the correction. Their dog was good, & it wasn’t anything big, so I unnecessarily got involved. It’s normally best to let them do their thing.
I’ve had these two pups at the house who haven’t totally learned when to stop yet, so occassionally I do need to step in to help teach them.
I let what I’ve been dealing with interfere with the situation. Normally I’m pretty good staying out of it until it’s necessary but for a moment, I wasn’t “in the moment”, stay in the moment!
